Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Monday that Hizbullah’s presence drew dangers to Lebanon given the Resistance’s ties with Tehran at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel are rising on strategic levels.
“Hizbullah is not only a Lebanese resistance since the party’s [leader] Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said in May 2008 that he is proud to be a member of the faqih rule in Iran,” Geagea said, in reference to the cleric-led form of governance in the Islamic Republic.
